About Us

Chris Harkey has been involved in the construction business throughout his entire life, growing up in the footsteps of his father’s skillful building experiences.  He recognizes the hard work and commitment that it takes to build a superior home with all of the custom amenities a client desires.  Chris has passed these same values on to his son, and now partner, Brandon.  Today, Harkey Homes & Design leads the quest for continued excellence in quality home craftsmanship here in the beautiful Rogue Valley region of Oregon.

Harkey Homes & Design has been building exceptional custom homes throughout Central Point, Medford and all of southern Oregon since 1967.  Our business is based on integrity, and being involved with each of our clients through every step of the building process from design to finish.  Brandon’s education in drafting and design, along with experience as an apprentice with three renowned architects, has been invaluable to clients since joining the business in 1997.  Lorilee Harkey serves as business manager of the corporation and is able to help clients navigate through the often daunting financial process that comes with building or remodeling a home.  She has a sharp eye for detail and can assist clients with complete interior design concepts, while giving priority to listening and understanding the needs of the clients.

Chris and Brandon monitor all aspects of the home sites regularly, and perform much of the work themselves, to assure the highest level of construction is being delivered.  Their ability to build long-term relationships with some of the most qualified subcontractors and vendors in southwest Oregon translates into a lasting value that you and your family will appreciate for many years to come.
